Best Temporary Fix?

OOHh, that reminds me I had this in the back of my toolbox. This should do the trick eh>?? Ive never used it.
I've used exhaust sealant and cement with poor results when trying to fix leaks. The sealant didn't hold its seal because it was being asked to do more than be a gasket, and the cement cracked and crumbled. I wish I had better news to share from my experiences. Things aren't looking too good based on those photos. I don't see a temp fix working so well, but I could be wrong.
You could spend an hour putting a bandaid on it and waiting 24 hours for it to cure, then another amount of time in the winter getting it fixed. Or you could spend an hour now at the muffler shop getting it fixed.

He's probably looking for one of those temporarily permanent fixes. You know the ones you do to get you by and then figure it works so I won't worry about it until it fails again.
In the winter ill replace the whole thing. Took me 15 minutes to apply the bandaid. If it doesnt work then ill deal with a loud exhaust until I have time to fix it completely Right. The bandaid cost me $7 now, a muffler shop temp temp fix much much more.
Trying to quiet it down for a month and a half until I replace the whole exhaust?? Makes perfect sense.
No doubt your right. Was just hoping to quiet it down until I park it for the fall/winter and start tearing into it to fix it the right way.
Nothing is more permeant than a temporary fix that works.
It's temporary and I didn't have any black ones. I'll change it to black when this one breaks.
I think that is covered in the Reg book. Brace yourselves.
You know you'll need to fix it when its 20 degrees and snowing/sleeting.
Naw it isn't a daily so it will be parked for the winter. While parked I will be tearing into the things that it needs, the exhaust being one of many
