Brake Cap Adapter

Hello all!

I've done a fair amount of searching but haven't been able to find a definitive answer.

I have a power bleeder I'd like to use to bleed my brakes but I can't seem to find the right adapter to the brake reservoir cap. Could someone please help point me in the right direction?

I had the same issue and out of the 38 or so adapters in the box none of them would seal or work properly. I promptly packaged it back up, rotated my body 180 degrees and dumped it into the trash can.

I then called my wife to help me manually bleed the brakes and was done in less time than I spent trying different adapters.

Darn! I really enjoy being able to bleed with the power bleeder; way less mess imo and also more a guarantee to prevent air in the lines

I'm debating buying another cap and making my own. I figured I should be able to create a seal that can handle 10PSI

What brand is your bleeder? If it's a Motive, this page might help:

Under the Jeep section, it looks like the 1103 (plastic) or 1113 (metal) adapters are recommended.

FYI, I’ve got the Motive aluminum m/c adapter cap, and it fit and worked perfectly on my 2002.
