Yeah it should be all good. I dropped in and they were pretty relaxed. They are taking a proper look at it tomorrow and said they'd call the Goodyear rep etc. I'm sure it will all be smooth sailing

Got it all sorted in the end as a warranty claim. Apparently the Goodyear rep was reluctant and tried to pin it as an impact fracture, but the shop manager sorted it for me. It was soft and squishy and you could depress it with your finger, not hard and under pressure. Seemed to be a bit of air trapped under the top layer where they burn the white letters on, however they do that. Everyone thought it was a bit weird, but all good now!
Glad you finally got it sorted out. I've been on pins and needles wondering what happened.
