Alright, so on the topic of lifting a Jeep. I have an 05' 4.0 sport with 31' tires on. All suspension is stock. I'm looking for suggestions on a budget lift. I am not a off road enthusiast. It is mainly a daily and does not go on many trails. I was interested in spring spacers cause they're cheap and fairly easy to install. I also am throwing around the idea of just replacing my springs, however I don't know if that forces me to change shocks as well. I have a budget of around $150. I know it's not alot, I just want a lift that is quality and safe. Thank you in advance!

Personally I would rock a 1.25" body lift. I had my jeep on 31's for a year or so and loved it. It rubbed and a small body lift would fix a bit of that and not break the bank. Make sure your body mounts are in good shape before you go this route if you so choose. No need to change any suspension components, other than thinking about a motor mount lift (not necessary).

For $150, I think you're looking at a body lift. You could do spacers on the springs, which is cheaper than new springs, but if you go too far you'll need new shocks, and that'll bust your budget.

Even small suspension changes can lead to more issues.
The suggested body lift will give you the most bang for the buck.
I think that most on here will steer you to BMB body lift. You'll also have to factor in a 1" motor mount into the equation.
No. In fact with a stock suspension and belly skid, it can cause problems.
You will just need to lower the fan shroud a bit, and possible adjust the transfer case linkage.
BMB would be great, but I think they only make one size/height. I'd recommend that you search around for some pics of TJs with body lifts and decide what height you'd like. I only wanted 0.5" (unusually small), and I ordered from Rokmen.
And yes, depending on the size that you install, you may need to adjust your fan shroud. Have a look at it, and you'll see that if it moves up with the body/tub, and if the fan stays put (connected to engine and frame), the fan may strike the bottom of the shroud after your body lift. So, just measure how much room you have between the bottom of the fan and the bottom of the shroud. If your body lift will be more than that, then you'll need to raise the shroud a bit.

I'm not a fan of body lifts. I'd do 3/4" spring spacers and call it a day.

A BL is way easier to install. I recently replaced my ugly BL with one from Black Magic Brakes. It took about an hour.
