Thought about SEM Trim black? Apparently it's amazing. I am going to put it on my 'new to me' stock bumpers to try it out.
It's what I use and looks great. Just be careful to apply light coats cause it will run easily.

I learned about this from Metal Cloak, they recommend using this for touch ups on their powder coated stuff.
No need to get fancy on paint, it's just a bumper. Rattle can Rustoleum or Krylon is what 99.99% of us Jeepers painting our bumpers use.
There is need to get into paint analysis-paralysis for a Jeep bumper.![]()
Definitely, so long as they are already in place. My TJ is not a show Jeep where I'd want or need bright bolts.Jerry, on armor, such as rocker guards and corner guards, would you rattle can the bolts too??
Rustoleum Black textured is only $5.76 at Home Depot, works for me. Will attack this project again when the wind stops. No need to get fancy on paint, it's just a bumper. Rattle can Rustoleum or Krylon is what 99.99% of us Jeepers painting our bumpers use.

Good luck with that. Somehow the wind gods know when you pick up a rattle can of paint. Every damn time...Rustoleum Black textured is only $5.76 at Home Depot, works for me. Will attack this project again when the wind stops.
Thanks. I may drag this project into my big shed, but that means not enough light. One way or the other...I'd like to get these mounted next weekend.Good luck with that. Somehow the wind gods know when you pick up a rattle can of paint. Every damn time...
Now that I like...

Thank you for the review. I just picked up a couple of cans last night, along with another can of self-etching primer. Of course it is pouring rain today...You won't regret the rustoleum textured black. Just painted my rocker guards with it and I love the way it came out. Also matches my MC fenders very well.
These are also pretty awesome for rattle can projects.
