It is a dual rate swaybar so you can have a tighter swaybar/heavier while on-road and then a looser/lighter when off-road. It has a inner and outer bar and a way to unlock it.

So why did Blaine use a Metalcloak arm for the link
That's a ORO added item I guess but I can say I like the hex rod better than a round one for those. Makes getting stuff tight easier.
