I hadn’t fished other than a couple charter trips in probably 20 years. The kids wanted to go this year and we’ve had quite a bit of success and the wife wants to go every night after work. We have quite a few lakes to pick from.

I prefer bass or anything big. I don’t fish for anything small.

Was out shattering dreams earlier today when some kid swore he caught a 4 pound largemouth and I told him it wasn’t even 3. Weighed it for him and it was 2.4 lbs.

Ideally I’d go buy a bass boat but with 6 in the family I need to get something we can all use, for now

I must be getting old, because all I can think is "Why?" The cost of, and the number of accoutrements on that thing, has reached the level of "vulgar" to my mind. I just have no appreciation whatsoever for it.

It does seem extremely over the top, to a fault. Get rid of half the garbage and keep the engines on the back would probably make it a million dollar boat but way more badass.

You'd think that they'd have had a refrigerator instead of coolers next to the worlds most non-masculine grill inches from a shower for "the womenz".

Seriously though, I think that guy was just trying to show off. I have no idea how big lake Havasu is, but I'm pretty sure a SeaKeeper is pointless (Seakeeper 6 is around $100K option) South Florida, yeah I understand the need for it, a big lake, not so much.
