That actually looks like a great swap for a CJ5.
I had a 1944 military Jeep that I put a Ford Pinto engine in, back in 1974. It worked out great! Lighter engine and more power.

I was going to mention that on the upper corner of each front door there was a warning sticker about whacking yourself in the head with the door corner (my wording most like;ly off). IIRC the sticker wasn't on the earliest models.
Anyway I'm really disappointed with that thing's mother for ignoring the stickers while holding their infant and opening the door.
Wait, was that real? I’ve seen one of those, but I was pretty sure it was a backyard creation.

Any idea of what year? I'm guessing '78-'79 or so. That was when these Tow Vehicles became a "thing" thanx to Dreamer's "Arctic Sun" 7th wheel and its Dodge based "Husky" Tow Vehicle which was similar to this one.
