Aside from all the BS about what size they really are, 4.88 will be perfect for those tires and I would definitely regear once they're installed. 5.13 would not be a bad choice either if you spend a lot of your time driving up into the local mountains.

Don't know where you are in CO, but I just had a regear done at The Edge Automotive in Englewood for MUCH less than that, including an E-Locker. Should be about $700 for gears, $70 for bearings and such, and $1400 for labor = $2170. Edge does nothing but offroad stuff, mostly Jeeps, and has a good reputation.

Nope, I sold the axles. But they drove to Colorado to wheel and back first.
