So I’ve noticed recently that when accelerating from a stop after letting off the gas there is a clunk from the rear anyone have an idea of what that might be? Also when the rear goes over a large bump there is a similar clunk.

I have read a couple posts (one here and one somewhere else) that said their upper rear control arms were the culprit. One had a loose bolt that couldn't be tightened properly before breaking and another had shot bushings. So, at least one place you can check!

I had the same problem---it was the tail pipe hitting the gas tank skid---had the last 18' replaced---great now

Had this issue one time. Turns out an upper shock bushing that was bad. Went to a local parts store and got another one and replaced it. Clunk was gone.
