I’m in the market for new control arms and I’m decided in Johnny joint ends.

Currie and core are kind of what I’m down to. Now I’ve watched some videos and core claims they use the Johnny joints from currie itself. And they are far cheaper.

So core’s model (camp or tier 3) with both ends on all 8 arms as using Johnny joints FROM currie is much cheaper than currie.

Why would anyone be buying currie anymore of core uses their johnny joints and is much less expensive?

Thoughts or opinions?

I wouldn’t buy either of those arms. You want double adjustable controls arms to make fine tuning the length easier and less time consuming. Consider the Savvy double adjustable arms.

Johnny Joints are specifically a Currie/RockJock product regardless of who you purchase them from. After that, you are deciding on nitpicky details of the tubing used to connect them. Double adjustable being a significant benefit of the arm.

It looks like to me that the Camp series uses a poly bushing on one end and a Johnny joint on the other. Like the Doctor of duck suggests, look for double adjustable.

For 100 bucks more they make the core set double adjustable. It’s an option on the website
