Control arm suggestions?

Hi, I know there are threads on control arm but I will be installing a 3 inch lift on my tj. I was looking at the metal cloak aluminum adjustable arms. any reviews on the control arms or is there a cheaper alternative that you recommend or new stock control arms?. my current control arms are rusted and need replaced. True. Up until your build exceeds the amount of movements the factory arms were designed for. When that happens, the Jeep has likely already reached the point of benefiting from adjustables.

Even at 2" of lift, adjustable control arms are nice so that you can adjust the pinion angle and play with caster if necessary. I know 2" isn't that much, but I've gotten to the point where I think I'd tell someone even with a 2" lift that adjustable control arms are a nice thing to have.

How much you want to spend is up to you. If you're planning to do a lot of off-roading and want to get serious, you'll want a high quality arm with Johnny Joints such as the Savvy or Currie arms.

If you're just going to be driving it on-road with very occasional and light off-roading, just about any arm will do at that point.

I just installed the metalcloak arms recently and am very happy with them. I have a 2.5" lift that runs closer to 3" since my jeep is light.

The jeep definitely rides better on and offroad after having dialed in the caster and pinion angle as @Chris mentioned.

I have been running Currie Adj CA all around for several years and they have been great. I am also running complete 4" Currie Lift, a 1" BL and 35's

I've been super happy with my savvy arms. I'm a big fan of double adjustable arms. Super easy to adjust.

Another vote for OEM arms if adjustable aren’t necessary. Only adjustable arms I have are rear uppers to go with the SYE. In that case, I recommend Currie double adjustable arms as it makes adjusting angles a breeze.
