Hey guys just put in crossover steering on my tj made sure to measure knuckle to knuckle before taking it off measured 53inches put in the crossover steering and she now measures 53.5 inches and I have some tow out on my driver side . My question is , I’m getting the jeep aligned will the alignment fix my problem or should I re-adjust the heim joints to 53inches and then get it aligned . Thanks

I gotta pull it off the knuckle and twist the heims again I was just seeing if I could get away with it and the auto shop could align it and it would fix it
Does the tie rod not just rotate? If the heims are threaded reverse from one another you shouldn't need to disconnect anything to change the toe
Your right I didn’t even try I figured just taking it off the knuckle would be best but I think the tie rod can twist if I unloosen both side
