Currie Tie Rod Upgrade

Joined the bent tie rod club a while back and am finally getting around to replacing it . Looking at 2 options , the TMR 7075 one or the black magic 4340. Anyone have any experience with the TMR one? Only coni can think of to the aluminum is the larger diameter for diff clearance.

Get the BMB one from Blaine, it's a super good product.

The BMB tie rod is the same physical size as Currie/RockJock. Depending on your setup, the added bulk of aluminum may be a problem where the tie rod, drag link, and track bar interact. It would be on mine.

I do like not straightening the tie rod anymore.

Without looking, does it have clamps or jam nuts? Makes a difference.

TMR has nuts to loosen up on the rocks.

Not for nothing but the jam nuts are about 7 bucks a pair, the clamps with bolts are about 40. If I could make jam nuts work, I sure be happier not spending so much getting clamps made.
