i'm stealin this, next time the skid comes down.Oh snap! This is one of those things that makes me cuss like the sailor I was. Getting access to install several of the nuts pisses me off every time I have to remove the skid!

I'm looking for them right now!I suspect anyone with a Savvy skid would benefit from adding speed nuts.
Mine came from Ace HardwareI'm looking for them right now!
I just took a quick look. Verifying these are 5/16-18, correct?Mine came from Ace Hardware
I think so. I had a bolt with me to test fit.I just took a quick look. Verifying these are 5/16-18, correct?
The clue was in your picture, with a "51618" part number!I think so. I had a bolt with me to test fit.
That makes sense! The clue was in your picture, with a "51618" part number!
Also, there are short and long versions. The one you have looks like a long version. I'll swing by Ace tomorrow! That makes sense!
They had both the short and long ones. Also, there are short and long versions. The one you have looks like a long version. I'll swing by Ace tomorrow!
have you been talking to @custommuffler ?I did something weird. My reworked exhaust from last weekend was too loud. So I bought a bunch of stainless steel scrubbie pads and a some stainless screen to make a muffler out of the hollowed out third cat.

A tube of paper was used to keep the middle of the cat shell open while I stuffed in a bunch of pads.

Then I inserted a tube of screen inside the paper tube to keep the pads in place and burned out the paper with alcohol and a torch.

Now the exhaust with my $15 homemade muffler is almost as quiet as my old Thrush Hush muffler was. This is exciting!
All the way out the back behind the rear tire.Do you have a tail pipe?
I haven’t followed enough to know what your exhaust is like but cats + muffler + tailpipe makes for a quiet exhaust compared to any configuration dumping before the axle. All the way out the back behind the rear tire.
Eventually I'll replace the cat and get a real muffler in there. I just need to make room for all of that.I haven’t followed enough to know what your exhaust is like but cats + muffler + tailpipe makes for a quiet exhaust compared to any configuration dumping before the axle.
Move a magnaflow cat forward and put the muffler over the skid.Eventually I'll replace the cat and get a real muffler in there. I just need to make room for all of that.
I just undid that last Saturday.Move a magnaflow cat forward and put the muffler over the skid.
This is the best picture I have of my exhaust. Magnaflow cat pushed forward, maganflow muffler, and a tailpipe. I used to have a banks muffler and that thing was so loud with a dump it was ridiculous.I just undid that last Saturday.
That's close to the arrangement I had. The muffler was too fat inside the Savvy skid and rattled a bit too much and a whole lot more after the hanger broke. This is the best picture I have of my exhaust.
