I’m 95% through swapping my 1998 Sport Dana 30/35 axles out with a 2006 LJR Dana 44s. Now I’ve discovered that the driveshafts are to long and had a new one built before realizing the LJR yokes are 1330. So I ordered the 1330/1310 ujoint for the rear and I have the stock front front the LJR that fits. Except the yoke on the 231 Transfer case doesn’t match. What solutions have you guys come up with to resolve this mismatch?

I believe you can get a SYE kit with a 1330 yoke already on it, or just a 1330 yoke(i may be mistaken) if you dont plan on doing a tummy tuck in the future

Why can't you do the same for the front DS? Doesn't the 231 have a 1310 front output yoke? Why not re-use your original 98 DS and put a 1310 to 1330 U-joint on the axle end of the DS?

The Dana 44 diff is longer than the Dana 30 so the stock DS is too long.

Pictures in these situations help tons...

You have two choices, first is to shorten your original front and use a combo joint at the axle or the rubi shaft with a 1310-1330 combo joint along with a 211355x centering yoke.

I had Adams make a driveshaft with the 1330 at the diff and a 1310 at the Tcase. I believe there is an option to get a Tcase yoke with a 1350 that fits the 231 but I wanted the weak point to be the 1310 at the Tcase and not a 1330 at the diff in the hopes that the ujoint broke before the gears. 🤞🏻

The front output has some limitations for yoke choices but if you depending on what SYE you have there can be plenty of yoke choices.
