Dead HVAC blower fan

I read everything, had high only , so replaced the resistor (rusty and crusty ) and fan motor after reading the windings short out and cause the extra resistance thats melts the wires, and switch in the hvac controls.

Saw the wire to the resistor was a little toasty so replaced the pig tail, still nothing

Inspected the switch , looked good but heard its an internal issue so just replaced that too and I GOT NOTHIN ! All fuses good.
Are there fusible links ? Anyone come across anything else?
Otherwise youre telling me I got a bad resistor (one speed would work ) or fan motor? Both are Four Seasons and looked authentic

You could have got a bad resistor, but it's more likely you need to tear apart your wiring harness and inspect for shorts / damage to it.

I recently attempted to install a new blower motor and had a similar issue of it not running. I checked everything including resistor and tested 12V at the connector. Turned out to be the connector on the blower side that didn't want to seat fully. I ended up putting my old blower back in.

You might try feeding it 12V to see if it runs.

Double check to make sure the plug is actually all the way in. I've replaced my blower motor a couple of times and HATE the plug. If it doesn't look like its nearly flush inside the motor, it's not actually connected even though it may "feel" in.

Update, went through all and the connector at the blower NEW blower motor is the culprit. They must take a mold of the factory piece and when its cast it shrinks . In addition its a poor male side on the harness and the new motor connection blades are not lined up.
So I tested to see if I had continuity on the motor , yes and then tested 12v output from the harness , yes there too . it took multiple times of reseating to get it to work .The connector is ribbed rubber with clip to hold it and way to tell where it really should stop. The blower motor was Four Seasons which used to be a good brand but who knows now Got it from ROck auto , I would suggest if an original replacement can be had get it, I should have not thrown out the original , I only replaced as a precaution after hearing about shorting windings in armature over time. The resistor was rusted to dust , and my water in the cabin floor issued persist , which I assume is part of this issue> Thanks
