Differential Flush Advice

I am looking to get my differential fluid changed out soon. Normally I would do it myself, but I am short on time lately and have no viable place to do the work due to apartment living. I was just wondering what a reasonable price would be for both the front and rear diff, I found a good mechanic but I want to make sure the estimate is reasonably priced. I have a 2004 6-cyl with a Dana 30 in the front and the 44 in the rear.

It's a pretty straight forward job, I'm guessing less than $100 plus fluid. There are no drain plugs in the differentials and a sealant material is the standard gasket. Get a set of Lube Locker gaskets to eliminate the need for sealant.

As Lukesfirstjeep posted the replacement of the fluids is a straight forward job, but the $100 labor plus fluids will be different depending upon the shops hourly labor rate. Realistically the shop will use approximately 4 quarts which could be $55-100 depending upon brand and markup.

What is the amount of your mechanic's estimate? The difficulty with giving you a one-size-fits-all estimate is that there are too many variables (location/COL, labor rates, parts/fluids markup, etc).

The 44 only takes 2 qts, and the 30 1.25.
