Nothing wrong with moving around. If done right, you're enveloped in downy goodness top an bottom. I change position often too, but I'm not a stomach sleeper. My lowest overnight was 6F. Stuff goes wrong really fast at that temp but gotta say, that was an amazing nights sleep!
Really nice, it would be cool if you made it so it could slide backwards so you could leave the folded seat in. It would make a great mobile Ham Shack! All i would need is a fold down desktop and a folding chair! I might well take a shot at that. Great job!
Agreed and the carpet looks fantastic. Do you stash the battery in the storage box somewhere? I've wanted to go dual battery for a while, can't afford to sacrifice any flat rear cargo space for my needs however. On the subject I plan to explore overhead cargo storage.
Shane, I have the rear seat removed from my Jeep, no fancy storage system just flat empty space, would measurements of this rear cargo area help?
Uh oh, you said ham shack, I can hear the guys in the ham shack on the roof already jumping down the stairs to suggest I throw one together as well. But for me, I'd say my tiny Yaesu 2 m handheld is all I really need. Save the trunk space for a bigger beer fridge!
No the secondary battery is actually under the hood which frees up space in the back. It's a tight fit but works well
