Hey guys, need some help. I put a two inch lift on my jeep and will also install a 1 inch body lift once I finish working on the frame. I noticed the rear track bar is off and I think I need a bracket to make it work. I found this

but I don't know if that one is right or if there is a better one. Also, is there anything else I might need to extend since I am lifting? Maybe the steering column or a track bar in the front. I am new to all of this, so any advice helps. Thanks.

That Morris link isn't showing the track bar bracket, it's just showing the front page of their website. What is the part number of the bracket you're looking at?

Yes that WAR800007 would work ok.

Just keep in mind you need a 'relocation' bracket that will change the geometry to recenter the axle. You also want to make sure it is sized for your 2.5" suspension lift so the odds of your axle being centered afterward are good.

While inexpensive, this one from Rough Country (ugh, I know) will work too and it gets good reviews. I would however replace the smaller factory bolts with Grade 5 3/8" after drilling their holes out a bit.

There are other good ones... just make it is not angled since you're still running the stock/factory track bar.

The above mentioned OME bracket, surprisingly, has received some pretty bad reviews.

Interesting I didn’t know that. I used the ome on and it worked for me though it was a bitch to get the trackbar in there as I remember.

Installing a relocation bracket is definitely not one of the easier tasks we TJ owners are ever faced with. My Currie bracket also needed welding and getting into position to do that was not easy lol. Getting the new adjustable length track bar into place was a PITA too.

So, the bracket from Morris 4x4 is not a relocation bracket? The reason I found this bracket was because I looked under a jeep that I was transporting and he had that same bracket. Also, this bracket you don't have to drill.

It's a relocation bracket, their description is just not written well. I just suggested the word relocation bracket to make it easier to Google for what you want.
