Does this spring go inside the IAC housing?

I just replace new iac and new throttle pedal positioning sensor. Jeep is still running high idle after cleaning throttle body. I found a spring on the ground after working on it .I am wondering if the spring goes inside the iac housing. I been really confused on this any advice.

No spring in the throttle position sensor either.

The spring ended up for some thing else. I found the problem of still getting high idle the iac sence wire conncter was not lock on.

I found the problem of still getting high idle the iac sence wire conncter was not lock on to the sencer. So it was not getting a good contact. Thanks

I bought the jeep at a action .. this treads been helping me figure out. My jeep new to Jeeps. So still learning. About different things u guys are great.
