Door Seal Recommendation

I'm looking to replace the drivers door seal on my LJ due to a leak. Looking for a recommendation on a good brand.
I see all these aftermarket door seals on Amazon/ Quadratec/ Morris4x4 but the reviews are sketchy.
It seems there are a lot of fitment issues and complaints.

Mopar still has the passenger door seal available, but the drivers door seal is discontinued.

I agree about the fitment issues-I originally bought one from Quadratec for the driver's side and it just didn't work well at all. I finally ended up replacing both sides about 3 years ago, and I bought them from Jeepsareus.com. I think you may need to call around or even check ebay.

I don't think you have any options other than Crown / OMIX-ADA, do you?

That's what it looks like-I just checked ebay, and there's nothing you can't already find on amazon.

I've had good luck with Fairchild seals, but I haven't used them on full doors. I used them on the tailgate and on the hardtop where the glass meets the top. I'm planning on using them for my half doors as well.

I was considering Fairchild for my half doors but ended up getting MOPAR ones.

From my memory, they had better reviews than the other brands, but the reviews still weren’t great. Just better.

I’ve used Fairchild weatherstripping for several automobiles, the quality and fit were just as good as OEM.

I was able to get both Mopar drivers and passenger side off eBay last year. People still have them stocked but definitely getting harder to find.

Edit again: I'm remembering more about this. The Mopar door seals I got were for a later model TJ than my 98 but application range covered all TJs 97-06. After you remove the old seals, they provide a clear plastic template you attach to the existing holes in order to drill I believe 3 or 4 additional holes for the trim pin/button/doohickies to snap into.

Exactly-and these seals work much better than the original, since they don't hang off the bottom of the door and get caught in the opening as you shut the door (and slowly get destroyed).

They are expensive but might be worth looking into?

I dont remember the brand but I just bought one off of ebay a few weeks ago.......came in and took me about 10 minutes to replace........so for anyone else it should only take about 5 minutes

Looking at these by Steele-they seem to be exactly like the OEMs where you need to drill some new holes. Not sure of the quality, but they look and seem to be decent quality.

Hello, I'm writing in the hope that somebody can help me.
I have the same problem with my door seals.
I'm looking for a door seal for the driver's side of my trusty old Jeep TJ. After extensive research on TJ forum , Fairchild products were repeatedly recommended because they closely match OEM standards. I've already looked at several other door seals, TRO, Omix, etc. – unfortunately, the opinions and experiences with these budget products are consistently negative.

Unfortunately, I don't live in the US, but in Europe, and I can't just ask my local parts dealer about FAIRCHILD products. Quadratac and Summit Racing do ship to Hungary, but with exorbitant shipping costs of up to $150.

I only need the driver's side (left).
Perhaps one of you or a company could send it to me in Hungary, or maybe someone is traveling to Hungary to visit relatives. I'm currently at a loss as to how to order this door seal.
