I'm doing the rear uppers and have never done rear uppers. I removed the stock arms one at a time and adjusted the new ones on the bench then installed on Jeep loosely.

Do I loosen the lower shock bolts and lower control arms at the diff then rotate the diff up to desired angle then lock everything down?

The lowers are aftermarket fixed arms and I'll do those in a couple months.

Thanks!

Any bonded bushings affected by the axle's change of position should be loosened prior to the adjustments and re-tightened at normal ride height afterwards. This is done to place the bonded bushings in a neutrally loaded state at normal ride height.

Too late BUT I'm kind of glad I did it. Whoever installed those lower control arms must have torqued them to 250 pounds. I'm going to re-check everything under there. The track bar bolts weren't as tight as I would have liked. I'm installing a new JKS rear bar and CV angled bracket too.
