DS18 Sound Bar System

Those are them, but the price is a little low. Was there a discount code? The cost of the 6.5" BLAMs appear not to be included in the price.

You will also need an amplifier wiring kit, and two pairs of RCA cables to connect the head unit to the amplifier. Incartec has an 8 gauge wiring kit that you could add, and then you need one more set of RCA cables.

Look at this brand and model number, love these and you can pick the length. You need two sets of two, but if one comes with an amplifier wiring kit you only need one additional pair.

I will just say holy sh*t - when you go to the shipping page it lowers the price. It must be the European VAT (tax) that is not charged to US people, that would be my guess.

So for less than $400 you are getting some real nice gear. You would only need that amp wiring kit, and a second set of RCA cables. Wow - @Apparition - This is a sick deal here.

I’m thinking of ordering the blams but I like the idea of the cerwin vega amp as I’d want to power a sub also.

What do we need to install the blams in the front?

I really like that Cerwin Vega B55 bomber, solid amplifier for the size. Personal choice - 5 channel amplifier or 4 channel amplifier with a self-powered sub (two sets of power/grounds)

In order to get those 5.25" in the front pods, you need either the Metra speaker brackets or the Select Increment Pods. $10 vs $80 - the pods add a lot of value to the install.

I also used a dynomat equivalent on the SI Pods - looked like this:

Now I'm debating on amp... BLAM, soundstream or other based on the system I'll be running??

I would no doubt get that BLAM 4 channel amp over the Soundstream. BLAM three-pack

Awesome! Just curious, is there another amp you'd suggest over the BLAM, or should I just shut up and order the 3-pack already 🤔🤪🤪

I’ll go with the pods. Did you use polyfill with the dynamat like stuff?

Correct. No VAT! I couldnt believe the price either.. it’s a screaming deal!

So what’s a good alternative to dynamat?

Anybody use it in the sound bar too?
