Ear piercing screeching on cold start

I did not. No vacuum leaks that I found either. It still does it whenever the weather drops below around 35 degrees. I noticed that it changes pitch in noise when I put the transmission in drive.

Start with your pulleys and bearings though. That’s usually the issue for most

Not sure about the belt but I think any auto store belt would be just fine. I used a Gates tensioner pulley if I remember correctly

Thanks, I will start there. I only noticed it on early morning startups during elk hunt over Thanksgiving. I keep it stored in Colorado and will see what happens when I go up there later this month.

Remove belt. Start engine.

No noise? It's something on the belt drive.

Noise? I'd check the OPDA
