I got that Alex Jones is a moron.
Anyone who CAN'T see the speedometer and then think that he's only able to go 25 MPH deserves what they get.

Claiming an EV has no torque isn't even laughable, it's like padded room level stupid.
A 45 % reduction in range is similar to what I get with my diesel pick up when towing, but I can refuel my diesel a lot quicker. How Far Can You Tow With an Electric Truck?

I guess I never calculated how much of a reduction there was but that seems might extreme. And as you said you can stop and fill up.
Wildman, specific to my 2011 Ford Super Duty with the 6.7L diesel, I've gotten as much as 20 MPG not towing and cruising 55 MPH. Increase speed, MPG drops.
Towing my 7 x 13 enclosed trailer (3500# max.) or my 34' travel trailer (10500# max), I don't see a difference in MPG. It's all speed dependent of 10-12 MPG. Both trailers have a similar size of "sail" pulling through the air.
In the article you linked, they were towing a flatbed trailer. I don't have any experience, but I doubt my MPG would drop as much as when I pull my enclosed trailer or travel trailer. Either way, I have a 200+ miles range when towing.
Oops
The only good things GM produces is LS engines.
Isn’t “EV vehicle thread” the same as saying “VIN number”?
