2003 Jeep TJ 4.0. I have AFe front cats.....took some adjusting but fits. Installed Banks cat back....love the sound actually. For the price (on sale and had a gift card), well made and sounds good on the I6. Now....what I noticed when installing this weekend.....my 3rd cat hanger does not align with the reciever....like it's completely in the wrong place. Let's say the receiver of the hanger is at 1pm on a clock face and the hanger itself is at 4pm. I'm not sure if the 3rd cat is from like a 1999 model or what the differences.
If you understand what I am saying....do I have the wrong 3rd cat? I mean I bought it this way....I did not buy this cat but I would like to make it right....I assume that taking to an exhaust shop would be the easiest....unfortunately I do not have one. I was looking at available 3rd cats and I see 00-02 and 04-06. I do not see 2003 models. So which 3rd cat fits a 2003 4.0L????
