Just looked. That knob is for 1999 and up. My TJ is a 1997, The one that will fit is a dollar more and wont ship until the end of March.....I guess it is stuck on a boat off LA.

12 dollars.....I have a small pair of Vice-Grips I can carry in the Jeep until I run across one that wont cost an arm and a leg.....I am down to a couple of fingers and toes after working on this TJ for a couple of weeks.

If 12 dollars stresses your budget I would sell the jeep now

I would also suggest replacement of the blower motor itself. as they age/wear they start to draw excessive amperage. this causes the blower switch to fail. Look at the connector at the blower motor, if it's burnt. replace it.

I was already thinking that as well about replacing the blower motor.
