Finished our tile shower

Nice color choices Chris. Good decision going with that pocket door, also like your door trim and carpet color.

To combat water spots, every three weeks or so I clean our shower doors with RainX, followed with Distilled Vinegar.


Here's my current project. Still working on floors.

We're finally all done with our tile shower, which replaced a horrible, ugly, enclosed fiberglass shower that was in our master bedroom before.

Just wanted to show off the end result. I'm super happy with the way it turned out, especially since I designed it myself.

The wife is very happy, that's for sure!

Still have to put the shower head on and paint the ceiling. That area on the ceiling is where a 12" soffit was that we removed to make the new shower space bigger.

Nice! I know you're proud. I just finished our Hall bath myself, but went a different route, I've never worked with tile, so I put LVT flooring on the walls all the way around.

luxury vinyl plank (or tile). the one I used is called Scratched Stone, bought from Home Depot. Putting it on walls or gluing it voids the warranty, I did both. It is 100% waterproof, I have it on all my floors throughout the house. I've put a piece in a bucket of water for over a week, no damage.

Weirdly enough, finished a shower about a year ago that was almost exactly the same, down to the river rock on both the floor and the back of the shelf. Ofc the tile was different though. Anyhow, nice shower!
