Hi Guys,

New to the Forum here, recently purchased my first Jeep, 2005 Wrangler Rubicon (Pictures to come). I need some help diagnosing a noise I am hearing in my front end. When I make sharp turns under power at very low speeds I will hear single loud knock.

Does anyone have any advice as to which part(s) in the front end suspension might be going bad?

I would check the sway bar links. If you’re turning right and the clunk is there it might be the right link and vise versa or maybe both.

Both left and right turns. Are there any visual signs of bad sway bar links when you take a look at the front end suspension?

Also will any damage occur if I neglect to replace for a couple weeks?

As far as I know the only thing is the clunk they make but you can check to see if the boot around the joint is torn. Sorry for the late response

Axle u-joint? Ball joint? Trackbar mount loose or shucked out? Wuped steering box? Check anything that is made to rotate. If it moves side to side that may be it.
