That khaki one has something odd at the end of the rear dogleg... Looks like a chunk was cut out of the frame.
Can you find someone on here in the area of the green one to take a look for you? Just a thought.

Right. I wouldn't mind paying $14k if it is a good of a jeep as he maintains. I don't mind overpaying a little to get as close to what I want as possible.
I have tried in the past to find some one to check out the ones I have found that are a long ways away, but have never had any luck actually getting some one to do it.

I'm wondering if you are talking about where they cut off the control arm mounts. They have to cut those off for the long arm lift.

Yep i cut them off mine, but the shape doesn't look right for that. It's like someone cut off too much.

Sounds like you already have your mind made up, but I'd be skeptical about spending that kind of money on something that I have not seen or be able to check out in person. The last thing you would want is to buy this and it is a lemon. Has he sent you videos of the engine, can you hear how it sounds? It would be worth you making the time and taking a quick trip down and getting a diagnostic ran on it......but hey that's just me.
Just had a thought looking back at the pictures. The side of the frame is shinny new black paint and the rest has dirt flaking off? Um so the dealer painted over a dirty frame? What's he hiding? If it's just dirt a pressure washer would fix it not paint. What about finding a local 4x4 shop to the jeep and pay them a couple hours of shop time to inspect it for you. Give the dealer a couple hundred as a deposit to show you are serious and have them take it in. Make the deal contingent on your satisfaction with their report.
By the way, in Ontario that's a $10-11k Canadian jeep tops. Buddy of mine just sold a rust free (except the windshield frame) 04 rubi that admittedly had much higher mileage for 6k Canadian, and it took a couple months to move.

Was there anything in particular you saw that made you think there might be bump steer issues? Or is it just the fact that whoever put dual steering stabilizers on that made you think it has steering issues?
I ended up buying it and it got delivered late Wed night. Yesterday was the first day I really got to look it over or drive it. The frame has definitely been touched up with paint, however, checking the inside of the frame with my finger, I can't feel any rust at all anywhere. No where on the frame does it look like they were covering anything up. The paint is really nice and smooth all over the frame. As far as frame rust goes, I think it's in great shape.
It definitely wanders a bit down the road sometimes, but I can't say it's all because of bump steer. It does have an adjustable front Track bar, but the end is adjusted all the way in.... the axle looks to be a touch off center but not a lot. However I didn't measure, just eyeballed. I will check all the tire pressures this weekend, ball joints ' and end links and start ftom there. I've never driven a TJ with 35s so not quite sure how good it is capable of tracking down the road or how much wandering is normal. Sometimes it tracks good and strait and other times it is kinda darty. Definitely more so to the right. May just need a good alignment.
All of the control arms are adjustable, but will still consider swapping them for Currie double adjustable control arms at some point.
The trans sure is noisy in neutral. From the reading and videos I have watched, it is normal for these 5spds though.
The interior is pretty clean except for one spot on the drivers seat. The engine runs good, but I did spray some throttle body cleaner in the IAC inlet to cure a little idle issue it was having. So far so good.
I like the front bumper better in person, so don't think I will be changing that out now.
The color is actually the shale green color, I like it a lot.
All in all I'm happy with my purchase. Would have been much happier if it was a little cheaper, but oh well. I can live with what I paid.

Wow, I’ve just read your thread and you pulled the trigger! Very nice jeep! Love that color. I don’t have much advice as I’m new to vehicles in general, but I can say that when I got my jeep it had vibration and wandering issues. Once I got new rims and tires and had them balanced perfectly, my problem was fixed. I do know that my boyfriends JK with 35 inch tires does wander more on the road than my 32 inchers. Have fun making this your own!
Thanks! I like it a lot so far. Did a little flexing earlier to see what kind of changes I need to make for clearances. I definitely need some disconnects.

It's just the dual stabilizers that made me suspicious. Basically no one drops the money for em if they arn't trying to use them to fix something... That they wouldn't fix 
My Long arm LJ on 35s drove dead straight with no hands after leaving the alignment shop, with no stabilizer at all... Then I broke stuff and have to hang on for dear life. I really need to go back to that shop again.
Awsome score since the frame is good, it's a great looking jeep. Bit of a touch up here and there and it'll be top notch.
