Which adjustable track bar?

You can remove the dual steering stabilizers. One is enough. Two will only stress the steering box. If you have issues with one stabiliser, then you need to start replacing worn components rather than masking the problem.

If the RC X-flex control arms are the type with the threaded washer on one side that retains the bushing, I would not trust those. I had upper rear X-flex control arms on my previous X, which I sold to a friend. After one off-roading trip to Colorado, he kept telling me about a clunking sound from the right rear. We took it to a suspension shop for a diagnosis, and it turned out the threaded washer had come out. Not threaded out, pushed out past the threads, and pretty much destroyed the bushing. We checked the other side later, and it had begun to do the same thing, but had not progressed to the point of coming completely out. My buddy went back to oem control arms.

I have to give credit to RC, though, when I told them what had happened, they sent me two new control arm ends at no cost, which have been redesigned to use a snap ring instead of the threaded washer. Much better design. They're still in the box in storage, though...

If you check out the arms you have, they turn out to be RC, find they have that old type of end, and you want to keep the arms, I would contact RC and see if they would upgrade your arm ends. Doesn't hurt to ask.
There are stickers on the control arms dated from the middle of 2017... So hopefully new style arms. I'll take a look though, thanks for the info

And then you have a spare.

There must have been a time
when we could have said no.

Anyone know the difference between the JKS regular and HD versions of their TB?

Looking at pics, I see a difference and bushing type on the axle side, and the joint at the frame side does look different. I don't know any of that 100% as all the descriptions I have see for them doesn't state any difference (that I noticed).

Did some more research. The HD version has larger bolts at each end then the non HD version and requires drilling at both ends. It also has a poly bushing at axle side and supposedly more allowed angle out of the frame side joint.

Anyways, I ended up ordering a Metalcloak TB. I read quite a lot about it and there were a few people with a JKS that said they would switch to the Metalcloak if they purchased again (and some did) but I didn't read about anyone with a Metalcloak that wanted to switch.

Price did sway me a little too as it allows me to put that money towards a winch and CB setup.

I got the Metalcloak installed yesterday and centered the axle pretty good. It drives noticeably better with the new track bar.

It took A LOT of force using a HD ratchet strap to get it centered. I have read where some people were able to center it just by cycling the steering wheel back and forth. Mine was not that easy at all. Took a lot more force then I was expecting....

I'm wondering now if the control arms could be adjusted all wrong and are causing this. I should have measured the lengths of them while I was under the jeep but I didn't think about it at the time.

Just curious more or less if everyone else with a 4+ lift had to use quite a bit of force to re-center the axle.

I am just under 3" and had to ratchet strap mine to get it centered. JKS recommended the strap in their instructions, no big deal.

Which control arms? When I first installed mine, the Jeep still had factory arms. The rubber bushings kept things mostly centered.

Later after the Johnny Joints had gone in and I needed to adjust again, I was surprised when the frame flopped over onto the axle. It was immediately obvious why once I gave it a quick thought, but I never would have anticipated it.

Stock arms. It needed to be pulled over about 3/4" so nothing extreme.
