Hard pop after turning

Mine was making a similar noise but only when I hit bumps. Turned out to be the Rancho RS5000X rear passenger shock. I left the plastic red boots on the shocks and it was causing a horrendous noise whenever I hit a pothole.

Anyways, the point being that it can end up being the most non-obvious thing. I never would have thought a shock boot could have made such a loud and terrible noise!

I have some cheap skyjacker hydros on mine. So would not mind replacing them anyway. Im gonna grab the ranchos at some point. I took the boots off of my shocks a while back too.
Im going to keep posting anything I change in attempts to fix it so If anyone else has some strange pop/ clunk they can try to follow some of these also. Thanks.

Yep, if you get the Ranchos, just make sure you take the boots off. All of us do, as they do more harm than good.

I appreciate the updates (we all do), and I suspect it will end up being one of the last things you think it will be. That's usually how it goes.

Well I got it. You were right Chris one of the last things I would have checked. The flex joints I have in my Jeep needed grease. That’s it! That horrible loud pop that I could feel through the car was caused by a little lack of grease..glad it’s gone thank you everyone for your help.
