I was gonna guess my LJ top was between 150 and 180 lbs.

It is about 150 lbs. Not too badly heavy but the weight is a little awkward to handle.

lange electric hoist was the best $ spent on the jeep to date. hardtop removal is a one man job with it.

Yea thats about it. I had this horrible memory of taking off my CJ top for the first time. By myself. Maybe thats where the difference was. Me and my friend got it off in like 10 seconds. lol. In fact, from that bad memory, I was pleasantly surprised. Also I was thinking I had to do it myself because I couldnt find anyone. Well he came thru in a pinch. So all is well. And now I wont freeze as much come winter-future. lol

Ah man..if I only had a garage. sigh. I wouldve done this years ago with my previous Jeeps.
