I can’t find an old thread which had a link to the proper way to align new headlights. Anyone know where I can go to do see how to align my new Xmas present?

Just an FYI:
The general rule of thumb is at 25 feet your low beams should be at 24 inches from the ground. Left lamp should point just left of the center of your lane and right lamp at the fog line.
I usually set mine that way then test drive and fine tune up or down.

Tip: spray some liquid wrench on the T-15 adjustment screws (2 each side) before you get started. Mine were nearly seized after probably not being touched for 13 years. They loosened nicely with just one shot of the penetrating oil and 10 minutes of soak time.

Anyone have to replace the alignment screws? If so, where did you get them?
Thimboslice, I tried for my 03, as torx points were rusted/stripped. Plus rust on threads resisted turning. I bought used light set and you can probably get new screws, but design is terribly weak. They are held into plastic frame by very slight shoulders that likely normally break when you push out old screw. Appears like a factory only install when plastic is fresh and flexible. I think only frame unit is available from stealer, like $100 or so each. Someone here cut slots for a regular straight blade, as a work around, but there's very little material to the screws, that might be a good option. As someone said, make sure threads are clean of rust as possible with limited resistance threading into plastic frame

I cant find them on there. Just like everything I try to do a search for on quadratec. lol
