I have a 2005 Jeep TJ with a heating issue. I replaced the leaking heater core the other day. everything seems to be working except I barely get any heat. The vacuum lines and actuators are working correctly and the electric temperature gate is opening and closing all the way. I think I may have an air block but can't seem to clear it. I burped it for about 30 minutes with the front elevated and saw lots of bubbles but still barely getting heat.

I am sure with burping it for 30minutes it reached normal op temp? May need to bleed it some more, crank the heat when op temp is reached as well

Grab ahold of each heater hose and confirm they are both hot to the touch, not hot and lukewarm, and report back.

but I know there is no air bubble.
I broke one of the blending doors on the disassembly and used a zip tie to get it put back together. It is the horizontal door. If that isn’t working as I hope would that prevent air from crossing the heater core?
I knew I should have taken a photo prior to reinstalling. And if so where do you even get those blend doors because every Mopar parts page doesn’t have them. (Discontinued)

You can get a new blend door from https://heatertreater.net/jeep-wrangler-97-06. They are pretty sturdy.
