We just bought a house which will become a rental, job #1 tear out several walls that make it claustrophobic. I can’t stand small rooms that do nothing more than cut up a living area.

House floorplans peaked in the Victorian era as far as I'm concerned.

We're Home!! or at least what we called home before settting out on Tour de, what the hell have we done. Yeppers, settled on a place in the White Mountains of AZ..again. Now to build a garage, sort thru way to much stuff, and find another project jeep. No MORE moves...ever..did I say ever?

Those of us that choose to live here year-round do so for the adjacent forests, with access to local ASNF trails just 3 miles from my home at 7.4k elev. Works great in retirement but not so much if still needing an income in such rural locations.
Believing that Arizona is America I think of anything East of Albuquerque the East coast.
