Hesitation and rough idle help

Thank you for all the replies.

I dont have a scanner but I use the 3 turns trick to get the code on my odo.

I pulled the coil pack again and checked the primary this time. I was not completely sure which contact in the 4 pin was positive but any combination that I tried the ohms were very low. Around .005k going for the coil pack and if not that then going to check harness. Blue streak ordered.

Appreciate that. Have it downloaded went through the ignition area. See the ohms but not which pins to test. I'll keep looking in the wiring section next

I’m not talking about codes. I’m talking about fuel trim. The fuel trim will tell you if it is compensating for a lean or rich condition. If you have a friend that can read fuel trim, post it here so we can help further.

I'll see if I can rent one from autozone or something and get back to you. I will say that I do think it was running rich previous to my issues as the cat clogged not too long ago and I have the 3rd cat rattling around.

I was not really able to figure out the coil rail test but the new coil came in. I just put everything together and I am still getting the code p2302.

Not sure if this is my issue but reading that after cleaning the TB the jeep needs to idle for a few minutes for the pcm to relearn values. I did not do that and just drove it around with a heavy foot. I'll let it run for a bit and see if it goes away but I am doubting this is the cause.

I am just making things worse at this point.

I went to let it idle. It was running for less then 10 minutes. It seemed to start getting better but then the engine cut out. Looking around the new coil rail popped. The pack that is closest to cylinder 6 blew out.

I called wrangler fix and they say my pcm has failed but not sure if that is what is causing my issues with the p2302. About to order a new pcm and see. Not sure what else to do, I will try to get to autozone and rent a scanner this weekend.
