Hidden AM/FM Antenna

Not skittish. Just prioritizing things in my life. The Jeep is a hobby, and I've learned to walk away from it when there are other things far more important to tend too.

Is that a drywall screw holding the wizard badge on? Typical bama redneck mudholer. 🤣🤡

Yes, it was a mock up to see where I wanted it before paint and install.

There was a hole already in the winch mount, so I just stuck it there to see what I thought, I think the whole forum thought it was permanent.

I'm not saying use this tutorial, but have you considered trying a DIY antenna? I doubt you are ever going to get as good reception as stock just due to mounting location (lack of) options, but that would let you get more creative location wise. You could even do an aftermarket mount a la GMRS/CB style and just mount the antenna there if you really want good reception. Or maybe on top of the roll bar? That would probably suck being that close to metal, but maybe not? You could always make one then try mounting it in different places to see.
