How can I verify if my Dana 30 axle shafts are chromoly?

I have a set of dana 30 axle shafts I was told were chromemoly but how do I verify? Would there be markings?

I've seen Discovery and Foote stamped on cromo shafts.

If they are chrome they usually have a very shiny finish to them.

Unless they are marked, we're gonna have to go by the general appearance of alloy shafts and make a few assumptions.

Here are some pics..I am going off what I was told and will be selling these. If I can't 100 identify them I will sell as stock shafts (which I think they are anyways)
