1997 2.5l sitting for 7 years. New fuel pump, new relay and the fuses are good but the fuel pump is not running. How do I check to see if I’m getting power to the pump? I can pour gas in the carb and it will fire.

Do you have any other electrical items that appear not to be working ?
There is a Automatic Shutdown Relay in the PDC (engine compartment) that may be sticking.
Try gently tapping the ASD relay and try to start your Jeep.
IF you have A/C; remove the A/C relay and swap with the ASD relay and try again to start.

Power to the fuel pump can be tested at its power connector located on the front driver's side corner of the gas tank, though you'll need a helper since the power to the fuel pump shuts off 1.8 seconds after turning the ignition on if the engine doesn't start. The fuel pump's +12v wire at its connector is dark-green with a white tracer.

Thanks for the input! I can put 12 volts to the fuel pump plug-in and it fires right up. I’ve checked all the relays and fuses and I’m at a loss. I’m just not getting power to the back of the jeep.
