How to recalibrate your speedometer after changing tire sizes or gears

I'm travelling 12% slower than what my my speedo shows. So, if my speedo shows 50mph I just calculate in my head
and I come up with uh...well, never mind.

Any recommendation on the torque spec for the 1/2 bolt?
Install the wishbone clamp and bolt to secure the drive sensor housing. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN the bolt. The tail housing is aluminum. Just snug it down good. Don't crank on it.

Great write-up, been looking to do this as my speedo is off about 5mph at speed (I am running 33s). Not a huge deal since it's easy to do that math in my head, but OCD makes me want to change it. Question: other than the speedo, is there any other benefit to the fix? Does it affect the shifting, tach or other things?
