Hi please help!

My 02 wrangler has been a bit funny starting the last month. Only starting in a specific key position (key turned not quite all the way)
Now it’s isn’t starting at all.

Battery is great and was running perfectly so I’m thinking it’s either the actuator pin or the starter motor?

Any insight would be appreciated 😊

Possibilities:
Bad ignition switch
Bad ignition cylinder
Bad ignition actuator pin

An outlier, but I recently had a very worn key that was very loose in the ignition, and it would start, but the dash was dead, radio dead. Tried my other key, all was well.

Agree with this. Switch and/or actuator would be my first suspect. You can remove the switch and crank it with a flathead screwdriver to see if it's a bad switch. If it cranks fine then I'd suspect the actuator next.

Thank you both! Will try this
