Ignition switch issues

So when I start my '03 Sport, the stereo and blinkers won't work until I jiggle the key a certain way...I remember reading what causes this, and what needs replaced, but I can't find it now...

Can anyone lonk me to the part, or the thread that covers this?

Both fuses for your radio & turn signals get power when the ignition switch is in the "run" or "acc" position, sounds like you have a loose contact in the ignition switch. If you search "ignition switch replacement" I'm sure there are more than a few writeups on replacing it, it's a pretty straightforward job.

I bought 2 different new key cylinders. Neither fixed the problem. Looks likely my actuator needs to be replaced.

Why would you buy a key cylinder?

It's a common fix for radio and turn signal power issues.
I DID fix mine in about 10 minutes by jamming a tiny piece of hard rubber (you could use something else) into the hole in the back end of the ignition switch lock, where the actuator tip goes in. Remove the ignition switch lock by placing the key in run (just before start), then insert a flat screwdriver into the hole right under the back end of the switch (bottom steering column cover piece) to release a spring loaded stay. While depressing the stay, turn the key and pull the whole switch out. Look on the end and you'll see the hole. No new actuator required.
