Is there a stabilizer on the 2.5 engine?

I am in the process of taking a YJ 2.5L down to the block and adding all the TJ components back on. I have a small engine stabilizer, does anyone know if this is for the TJ or just older models? Can’t find it in the TJ service manual

This is not used on the TJ. Pretty interesting to say the least.

Oh.....
That's what they used when they added fuel injection to the 2.5 monster to tame all the extra horsepower.

Although...
I just messed around with a load sensing proportioning valve on a 2001 Tracker today.
That's some incredible engineering right there.
