About 1000 miles ago i replace the cam with a new one from enginetech along with lifters and the opda with a crown one, today in replacing the RMS and found this, is it normal wear? Do i need to change the opda and cam again!?

It's hard to say from that photo but it doesn't look good to me. You have a 2005 or 2006? Your Profile is devoid of any information about your Jeep.

yes its an 06 65th anniversary, so should i change the opda again!? There very little up/down movement. Not sure if thats normal

I had my oil pan off changing the gasket in the spring of 2017. At that time I had almost 100,000 miles. While in there I took this pic of the OPDA. To my knowledge it’s the original, as is the cam. I personally thought it looked good, so it’s still in there with 113,000 miles. I have bought a crown unit in case I do need to change it in the future.

From your pic, i think you’re looks similar to mine.

Looks normal to me.

If those parts were brand new, they are going to break-in (just like ring and pinions) and develop a normal wear pattern like that.
