Info then question: 2000 TJ I6 manual. Ok, so I bought this Jeep last year and have been doing some off-roading ( dirt / hills / mud NO ROCK CRAWLING) and was just wondering about upgrading some parts because if they’re all stock they may / probably are worn out: Springs front and back, bump stops and maybe adding a body lift. I’m not going to do crazy off-roading so I was thinking maybe a total height of 2”-2.5” so I don’t have to lengthen things or buy a SYE. I did replace the shocks with 0-2” pro comp 9000’s and some basic replacement sway bar links from and back since they were destroyed. If I’m going in the wrong direction or too much for what I’d like to do, please let me know. Jeep rides nice right now, but don’t know how much better it could ride.
Questions: So I can’t tell if these springs and the height from the wheel well to the tires is stock? Seems higher than stock but I’m unsure. Those are 31.5” tires. And on another forum someone said to stay away from body lifts, why? Any help?
