Hoping to gather some knowledge from everyone is possible on an odd issue I am having.
So I have a 2000 Jeep TJ and bought in Canada so I have Daytime running lightoption within standard headlight. Might be worth mentioning that for my DRLs they don’t switch on until Jeep starts moving. Anyways I Bought Xprite led headlights with DRL and have installed them. I did run the fuse tap to fuse panel within engine block areas for the DRLs as I have seen on a few install sites.
anyways when start the Jeep the halo ring come on, but as soon as I move around 5 ft they jump to high beam and stay there. When I do turn lights on they switch to standard low beam but would be nice to operate the daytime running lights as intended and not have to turn lights on at all times to prevent blindness for fellow drivers
. Anyone run into this and if so what solution did you come up with? I have seen some solutions for newer jeeps but not 23 year olds.
Would a CANbus resistor or something solve the issue?
I had a friend recommend the Can bus in the attached photos but don’t know if that would work?
