Hi. I have a 97 TJ, 4.0 auto with 60,000 miles, and exactly the same problem. After slowing down to turn a corner, under 15mph, I give it some gas and it chugs, then I back off and it's fine again. This has happened twice in the last 2 weeks, otherwise it's all good and no problems, lights or codes. Would you recommend the same diagnostic (driving with O2 sensors unplugged)?

My 05 was doing a similar thing, replaced the spark plugs and that fixed the issue, however mine had the original plugs at 140k miles.
