Hey guys, so I have a big problem with my 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ. I was driving the other day coming back from school going about 35 mph and my clutch went all the way to the floorboard and I lost pressure. Sounded like a thump. I could not shift gear, but was able to shift into neutral and had to pull over immediately. I shut the engine off and checked it out. My clutch pedal lost pressure because it had disconnected from the clutch fork. The clutch fork was loose and the clutch pedal bushing (piece of plastic) inside the clutch fork was broken. I bought a new clutch pedal bushing (piece of plastic) yesterday for $8 hoping this would fix it. It was a bandaid fix and my clutch went out on me again. Everytime it goes out, I am able to pull over and put the pedal back in the fork but it is really dangerous. I think I need either a new clutch release fork or clutch release bearing. Any help or knowledge diagnosing the problem and helping me figure out what part to buy is greatly appreciated! Thank you guys!
